Sweden is a Scandinivian country stiutated in northwest Europe having border with countries like Norway, Finland and Denmark. It has population of around 9 million people and Stockholm being the capital city. The other major cities are Gothenberg and Boras. Sweden is mostly famous for the Nobel Prize, companies like Eriksson, woman equality, human rights and its development. It has significantly contributed to the World in the field of Technology, Literature, Arts and Education.

The education system is one of the world’s best. It is wide open to all the international students and the education is subsidised by the Government. It has been providing free education and many scholarship schemes to the many students of the World.
Students from Nepal are attracted for the higher education in Sweden in last couple of years increasingly mostly in Postgraduate and PHD courses. Lesser study options are available to the undergraduate students in English medium but still there are many interested ones. Admissions in the institutions are administered by the central application system which normally starts from the Mid-December and are provided on the merit based. English language Tests like IELTS and TOEFL are almost mandatory while Tests score GRE and GMAT hugely plays important roles.
